Rocks Glasses

They’re back!

The highly sought-after Conscripts rocks glasses have returned for this year’s tournament. Featuring an incredible dual-use technology, the glasses can be used for “rolling low” against your opponent OR as a glass for your favorite beverage after the game. Field testing shows the glass should not be used for both roles simultaneously, however.

Due a manufacturing incident at Glass Factory #3, quantities are limited. Claim yours on the Registration page!

Conscripts T-Shirt for 2023

About Our Shirts — Our very stylish shirts are revised completely every year. This year features our unique logo on the front (in this case, a Japanese LMG). On the back we have the image from this year’s flyer. Shirts are made of (edit: 100% Cotton) for extended wear during long gaming sessions. Color may vary slightly from the image shown above. We are purchasing only 30 shirts this year so be sure to get your order in while we still have ’em!

Scenario List is Up

The Human Wave is only five weeks away! As the excitement builds, we have posted the Scenario List, so be sure to take a look.

Some of the Proletariat have asked about swag for this year — yes, our very popular t-shirts are being requested through official channels. We’ll put the order page up shortly. Still working on the glasses. Due to the need for advanced optics for the front, I am not entirely sure the glass factory will have our order ready in time, but we’ll see.

Ratings and Registrations

Conscripts and fellow travelers,

On behalf of the Central Committee, I am pleased to report that a team of our best scientists and engineers has completed their work and successfully uploaded game results from both tournaments in 2021 and 2022 to the player ratings website, ASL Ratings.

And a gentle reminder — time to take advantage of your chance to register early for this year’s tournament is running out! Several of you have wisely, and patriotically, already registered. Take a look at the early registration page for details.

New Feature!

Thanks to Conscript John G.’s suggestion, we are now going to post the win/loss record for tournament participants at ASL-Ratings.org . This way you will be able to see how you compare to other ASL players, globally. And it’s a great way to ‘give back’ to the ASL community.

To participate, make sure you complete the Player Information Form after registering.

It’s Official!

After considerable discussion and negotiations with the hotel, we are using the same location in 2023 as we did in 2022, the Tysons Corner Marriott at 1960-A Chain Bridge Rd in McLean VA 22102!

We are confirmed for the dates Friday July 7, 2023, to Sunday July 9, 2023. Mark your calendars now! Those of you who like plan ahead can even book your room now using our special group rate of $89/night. Last day to book at this rate is Wednesday, June 7, 2023. See you there!
